Nicholas Gyeney, the Writer/Director of one of Lance's latest films The_Penitent_Man contacted us at Lance's request with a link to the trailer and some great behind the scenes photos from the film.
The Penitent Man is apparently in post production and set for a 2010 release. The film tells the story of young psychologist Dr. Jason Pyatt (Lathrop Walker). A man devoted to his work. A man torn from his family.
With his struggling marriage and mounting bills, Dr. Pyatt is at a crossroads with the life he has chosen and the life he could have.
However, a fortuitous encounter with the mysterious Mr. Darnell (Lance Henriksen) will force Dr. Pyatt to open his eyes and change the course of his future, and possibly the world, forever.
LHM extends its gratitude to Nicholas and Lance for helping keep our visitors up to date, and wishes them every success with the The Penitent Man.

Nightmares in Red White and Blue is a look back at American horror films, with interviews from the industry's most prominent names in blood and guts and a discussion of how the films have evolved through the years. The documentary covers the early days of American cinema, from the earliest monster movies and speculative fiction up until the "Saw" franchise and torture-porn of today. The directors and writers talk about the nature of fear, how the films reflect the collective fears of the nation and how it is reflected on the silver screen, from threats of nuclear warfare and fallout from radiation to stranger fears and paranoia. As our national fears changed, so did the monsters on the screen.
Joseph advises that they (Lux Digital Pictures) are planning to have Video on Demand and DVD distribution in January 2010.

15th September 2009 Lance Henriksen approached by investors to make a Millennium movie
Intriguing news has been published at BacktoFrankBlack.com , the dedicated campaign working to see the return of Chris Carter's Millennium.
According to the campaign's co-director Mark Hayden, Lance Henriksen has contacted them to advise that he has been approached by independent investors interested in making a Millennium movie.
Obviously this is an important development in the quest to see Millennium return as a feature-film and is bound to raise awareness, if not eyebrows at Twentieth Century Fox, who of course own the rights to the series.
Mark comments on the development...
... there are times when a hot potato lands in our lap and this is one of them.

10th June 2009 Trailer Debut For Lance's 'Godkiller'
A trailer has appeared for Halo-8's incredible looking, dystopic sci-fi Godkiller which features the gravelly voice of our beloved Lance Henriksen. Godkiller is a series of graphic novels and illustrated films created by award-winning filmmaker Matt Pizzolo that tells the stories of human beings caught in the crossfire of warring fallen gods.
Resembling a violent sci-fi/horror comic, Godkiller is set to have a limited theatrical release coming September 29, 2009 followed by the inevitable DVD release.
Godkiller takes place in a dark future after economic collapse, after nuclear holy war, and after Earth is colonized by alien races. Tommy and his kid sister Lucy live in an orphanage in one of the few remaining city-states, but Lucy is critically ill and desperately in need of a new heart. Tommy's odyssey to find a new heart for his sister begins when he follows an organ-stealing prostitute named Halfpipe out of the city-state and into the savage border-land known as Outer City. Godkiller mixes unforgiving brutality, quantum physics, conspiracy theory, and secret history for an iconoclastic hero's journey like none before it. This "illustrated film" features intense comic art with mind-bending motion graphics, blood-pumping music, otherworldly sound design, and voice acting by some of the most exciting performers in genre films and youth-culture.

Besides Lance Henriksen, Godkiller also stars an impressive voice cast of Danielle Harris (Halloween, H2), Justin Pierre (singer of Motion City Soundtrack), Tiffany Shepis (Night of the Demons), Bill Moseley (TCM 2, The Devil's Rejects), Nicki Clyne (Battlestar Gallactica), Katie Nisa (Threat), Lydia Lunch (Hardcore), and Davey Havok (singer of A.F.I.)
